A good achievement of this process is determined by the right combination of an adapted grinding wheel, a powerful machine and a high-pressure cooling system.
This method of grinding doesn't produce sparks, which could be the result of overheated material. The grinding wheel works like a planer, and the removed metal chips are very small.
The wheel shape is carved in accordance to the workpiece we have to obtain :
- By CNC contouring with a diamond grinding wheel dresser
- By CD-dressing
